Intellect's TechCare program is a way for business customers to ensure that their investment in technology - as well as their underlying business - are protected and cared for on a monthly basis. Unwanted viruses, hackers and hardware or software failure pose real threats that can literally "shut down" your business, or at the very least cause employee downtime and lost productivity.

Our ongoing care program is a flexible way to ensure the health of your business, from a technology perspective.

Through the TechCare program, we become your outsourced technology department.

Depending on the needs of each client, Intellect will perform the following services, on a monthly basis:

  • Antivirus system updates and quarantine results - Reduce potential for business down-time and lost productivity due to virus attacks.
  • Backup system and perform backup audit and test restoration - Prevent permanent loss of critical business data, such as customer or financial information.
  • Firewall log audit and software updates - Protect computers from unauthorized access or users (hackers).
  • Server service pack and security patch updates / Workstation (PC) service pack and security patch updates - Repairs defects/bugs in software that was installed with your server and PC's, as free updates are made public (by software publishers such as Microsoft, etc.).
  • Workstation spyware/malware scan and removal - Remove unwanted and distracting "pop up" advertisements, and the cause of them.
  • Server event log audit and resolution - Preventative maintenance to predict (and avoid) catastrophic failure of server; a "check up" of the health and status of your server(s) - the core computing backbone of your company.
  • Hard drive utilization review and clean up - Verifies that computers have sufficient storage space to operate properly.

The TechCare program works as follows - for a single monthly service charge, clients receive:

  • Scheduled weekly or monthly visits from Certified Engineers (depending on the client's needs).
  • Telephone or remote support, as needed.
  • Discounted rates for services or consulting projects.
  • Money-back commitment from Intellect, guaranteeing your satisfaction.

The TechCare program is designed to have a Certified Engineer dedicate 4-, 8- or 16- hours per month to your company. The actual time will be pre-determined and is dependent on your company's size, number of employees, technology infrastructure and user needs. That monthly service plan allows you to have your own "Technology Department" - dedicated personnel that know and support you and your business - without the need to hire expensive technology professionals on a full-time basis, or to supplement any IT staff that you have now on-site.
